2 cans Cream of Chicken soup
6 or 7 chicken breasts
Put the chicken in a crock pot. Mix together the soup and ranch powder. Pour over top. Cook for about 4 hours on high or 6 on low.
When I serve this I typically make mashed potatoes to go along with it because the sauce from the crock pot is the perfect gravy.
To make perfect mashed potatoes... (My niece always gives me a thumbs up when she has them!)
15 potatoes (I always think about 2 per person, and then add a few more..then a few more. Extra is always good!)
1 package of cream cheese
stick of butter
salt and pepper to taste
Few dollops of sour cream
Few splashes of milk
Boil potatoes until they are mashable. While I am cooking them I add the cream cheese and butter to a large mixing bowl. Drain the potatoes add to bowl. Using a hand mixer beat them until nice and smooth. Add in the milk and sour cream as you are mixing. Sprinkle on the salt and pepper towards the end, give another good mix and you are ready to roll. Sometimes for extra added flavor I throw in a couple of chicken boullion cubes to the boiling potatoes.
